Northern Illinois Music Conference (NIMCon) seeks to foster and promote the advancement of music education in public and non-public schools and to sponsor annual contests including Solo and Ensemble, and Organization Contest for Bands, Choirs and Orchestras in the State of Illinois. NIMCon is an organization that provides rich opportunities for student musicians and their directors. Northern Illinois has a history of strong music programs, excellent directors, and much administrative support. NIMCon allows for the strengths of our directors, the uniqueness of our region of the state, and for the specific needs of our educators.

We are currently 117 directors strong from 30 different schools.
All participating directors should complete the following form to register for NIMCon by clicking the JOIN US button above. $125 membership (one per school district) will be due by September 15 of each year. Membership dues should be be written out to “Northern Illinois Music Conference”
